4.10.4 Downloading Log Files Automatically
You can specify a schedule and allow AWS Client to download the log files automatically.
Before you change the application to the auto-download mode,
define a schedule, which
stations to connect to and when, which log
files to download, and where to store them.
For auto download to succeed, AWS Client must either have no open connection with any
QML data logger at the time of polling or, if there is an open connection, it must be only
with the logger specified in the Auto Download Settings window.
If there is an open connection with another logger, the connection is not closed and the
auto download does not succeed.
To enable the automatic download, AWS Client must run continuously. If you use a serial
line connection, the COM port must be free and assigned to AWS Client.
1. In AWS Client, select Settings > Auto Download.
