Before calling a technician
Consulting the tables on the following pages may save you the trouble of calling a technician.
Problems Possible causes Solutions
The dishwasher does not
start
A fuse has blown or the
circuit breaker has tripped.
• Replace the fuse or reset
the circuit breaker.
• Remove all other
appliances using the same
circuit as the dishwasher.
The device is not turned on.
• Check that the
dishwasher is switched on
and that the door is closed.
Make sure the power cord
is properly connected to the
wall socket.
The water pressure is low.
• Check that the water
supply is correctly
connected and that the
water tap is open.
The dishwasher door is not
closed properly.
• Be sure to close the door
by engaging the latch.
The water in the dishwasher
does not drain
The drain hose is clogged or
kinked.
• Check the drain hose.
The filter is clogged. • Check the pre-lter.
The kitchen sink drain is
clogged.
• Check that the kitchen
sink drains properly.
• If it is the kitchen sink that
is blocked, you will need
a plumber rather than a
dishwasher technician.
