Storage
If you are not planning on using the unit for an extended period
of time (more than a few weeks), we recommend cleaning and
thoroughly drying it. Please store the unit as follows:
1.
Unplug the unit and remove the exhaust pipe and adjustable
frame.
2. Drain all the water from the unit. Remove the drain hose from
the unit.
3.
Remove and clean the air intake filters. Keep the air intake filters
in a dry, dust-free place for a few days before repositioning them,
to give the evaporator chance to dry. When the water has been
drained, the unit can also be run in fan mode for approximately
half a day at low speed to thoroughly dry the interior of the unit.
Then reposition the air intake filters and reinstall the drain plug.
4. Always store the unit in an upright position.
5. Remove the battery from the remote control.
6.
Store the unit and its accessories in a dry, dust-free, well
ventilated environment away from direct sunlight.
