Usage Features

Before First Use:

  • Unpack all packaging materials.
  • Check for damage or missing components. Do not use if damaged.
  • Iron a scrap piece of fabric with steam for about 10 minutes to remove manufacturing residues from the tank.
  • A slight odor or unusual sounds may occur during first use due to plastic expansion; this is normal and will fade.

Filling the Water Tank:

  • The steam station is designed to work with tap water. However, if your area has hard water, demineralized water is recommended.
  • Ensure the unit is unplugged before filling.
  • Open the water tank lid (K) and fill the reservoir using the measuring cup (N) up to the MAX level mark (J). Do not overfill.
  • The "Add water to the tank" icon (3) will light up on the display when the water level is too low, and the unit will beep.

Switching on the Unit:

  • Unlock the iron from the steam station by pressing and holding the lock button (L) and moving it downwards.
  • Connect the power cable (F) to a suitable mains socket.
  • Press the Power button (9) to turn on the unit. It defaults to steam mode (4).
  • The iron indicator light (A) and steam mode icon (4) will flash during heating. They will remain steadily lit when ready.

Horizontal Steam Ironing:

  • The steam burst (C) and continuous steam functions help remove wrinkles.
  • Position the garment on the ironing board.
  • To apply a burst of steam, double-press the steam burst button (C) within one second. The steam mode icon (4) will briefly flash.
    • Tip: To optimize steam flow, avoid pressing the steam burst button more than 3 times in a row. Wait a few seconds between bursts for steam to penetrate the fabric and pressure to build up. A full tank lasts approximately 30 minutes, depending on usage.
  • To apply continuous steam, press and hold the steam burst button (C) for 3 seconds, then release it. The soleplate (E) will emit a light burst of steam.
  • If the iron indicator light (A) starts flashing, stop ironing and resume when it stops flashing.
  • WARNING: Always rest the iron vertically on the ironing board or the steam station's heat-resistant platform when heating up or after use.
  • RISK OF BURNS: Never steam iron clothes while wearing them or direct steam at people or animals.

Vertical Steam Ironing:

  • Vertical steam ironing removes wrinkles from hanging garments.
  • Hang the garment securely.
  • Hold the iron upright, approximately 10 cm from the fabric (20 cm for more delicate fabrics). You can hold the iron closer if the fabric allows.
  • Refer to the "Horizontal Steam Ironing" section for steaming steps.
  • WARNING: Vertical steam ironing sessions should be brief to avoid water collection on the soleplate and leakage. Alternate vertical and horizontal ironing sessions.

Dry Ironing:

  • When dry ironing, do not use the steam burst button (C).

ECO Mode:

  • The ECO mode (6) reduces steam amount for energy saving without compromising ironing quality.
  • To switch to ECO mode, press the Set button (8). The ECO mode icon (6) will light up.
  • To return to normal steam mode, press the Set button (8) again.

Switching off the Unit:

  • Press and hold the Power button (9) for 2 seconds.
  • Always unplug the unit when finished.

Auto Shut-off Function (Standby Mode):

  • If the unit is not used for 10 minutes, the auto shut-off function (5) automatically puts the unit in standby mode for energy saving. The iron will beep 6 times and temporarily stop heating.
  • In standby mode, both the auto shut-off icon (5) and the iron indicator light (A) will flash.
  • To reactivate, press the steam burst button (C). The iron will awaken from standby mode and automatically start heating up again.
  • WARNING: When the unit is in auto shut-off mode, it is not completely turned off. To fully disconnect, press the power button and then unplug the unit. The soleplate and surfaces indicated by the symbol (three wavy lines) can reach very high temperatures; do not touch these surfaces. Never leave the unit unattended when children or animals are nearby.

Anti-drip Function:

  • This iron has an anti-drip design. When the temperature is too low, it automatically stops emitting steam to avoid water leakage.

Empty Tank Detection:

  • If the water tank is empty during use, the tank pump will stop automatically for safety reasons. The "Add Water to the Tank" icon (3) will light up on the display to alert the user to refill the tank.

Ironing Tips:

  • Always consult the garment's care label.
  • Silk and some other fabrics tend to retain shiny marks; iron them inside out or without steam.
  • To prevent shiny marks or accidental burning of delicate clothing, place a cloth between the garment and the iron.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • WARNING: Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse the steam station, cable, or plug in water or any other liquid. Do not rinse under the tap.
  • NOTE: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning products, wire brushes, sharp objects, or scouring pads to clean the unit.
  • Empty the water tank after each use. Avoid leaving water in the tank to prevent residue and limescale build-up.
  • Wipe down the iron and steam station with a soft, damp cloth.
  • To remove occasional lime deposits on the soleplate, rub them with a cloth slightly dampened with water.
  • Allow the unit to air dry or dry it with a soft, dry cloth before putting it away.
  • Place the iron on the steam station, then raise the lock (L) to the locked position to secure the iron in place.

Automatic Cleaning Procedure:

  • After 25 cumulative hours of use, the automatic cleaning icon (2) will illuminate, indicating the unit needs cleaning. This function helps remove impurities and limescale from the soleplate and steam outlets.
  • WARNING: During the automatic cleaning process, steam or boiling water may escape from the iron. Keep a safe distance.
  • Steps:
    1. Make sure the water tank is at least half full.
    2. Hold the iron over a sink or large container.
    3. To start the automatic cleaning mode, press and hold the Clean button (7) for 3 seconds. The iron will beep 3 times, and the automatic cleaning icon (2) will flash. The soleplate will begin to release boiling water and steam for 2 minutes. This process removes mineral deposits and impurities.
    4. When the automatic cleaning process is complete, the iron will beep 3 times, and the steam mode icon (4) will light up once more on the display.
    5. You should stop the automatic cleaning mode whilst the process is still in progress, press the power button (9).
