Fault
If the ele ctric drive fails, the s ystem is
protected by a fuse in the fuse box – see
page 194. Until the fault is remedied,
operate the sun roof as follows:
Slide drive cover toward rear. Push in
spring-loaded centre part of drive shaft
using screwdriver 3 and rotate drive shaft
until sun roof is closed.

Buttons \ and I between the sun visors.

Press button \ until folding roof is open.
To clo s e:
Press button l until folding sun roof is
closed.
Not e
Release switch as soon as roof has rea ched
end position.
Roof can only be operated at speeds of less
than 75 mph (120 km/h).
Do not open frozen, icy or snow-covered
roof.
When using a roof rack, check freedom of
movement of electric folding roof in order
to prevent d amage.
