Gently
pull
the
diskette
straight
out
from
the
drive.
It
should move
easily out.
If
there
is
any
resistance
be
careful
not
to
pull
too
hard,
excessive force
may
tear
or otherwise harm the surface.
It
is
best
to
remove the diskette when
it
is
not in use. This reduces wear of
the
diskette against its protective jacket.
You
may
leave
it
inserted
but
not
mounted
(that
is,
with
the
door
to
the
drive open), or simply take the diskette out
of
the
drive and replace
it
in
its
protective storage envelope.
