Replacing the sealed lead acid battery for
SPORT SPOT
®
1. Disconnect the SPORT SPO T
®
1,000,000 from the power source.
2. Remove the rubber bezel.
3. Loosen and remove the five screws located on the right side of the spotlight housing (see Figure
for screw locations).
4. Lift up and set aside the right side of the housing.
5. Carefully unplug the positive and negative wires from the battery clips and remove the battery
pack. (Do not let the connectors touch together).
6. Attach the new battery pack to the wires, taking care to match up the proper polarity (Positive
(Red) to Positive; Negative (Black) to Negative).
7. Position the battery in the housing, and reassemble spotlight body . Tighten all screws.

1. Disconnect the Super SPORT SPO T
®
1,000,000 from the charging source.
2. Unsnap the stand legs from the storage bracket and position them away from the battery cover.
3. Turn (1/2 turn) the two lock-knobs located on the back of the spotlight housing.
4. Use the hanging hook to unsnap the battery cover, and set it aside.
5. Remove the battery pack.
6. Carefully unplug the positive and negative wires from the battery clips and remove the battery pack.
7. Attach the new battery pack to the wires, taking care to match up the proper polarity (Positive (Red)
to Positive; Negative (Black) to Negative).
8. Place the battery in the compartment, and snap in the cover applying pressure on the back
of the cover to press it over, down, and behind the lock-knobs. Turn the lock-knobs (1/2 turn).
9. Replace the hanging hook and stand legs to the stored position.
Battery disposal:
Sealed Lead Battery This battery is fully recyclable and should be accepted at any location that
accepts common automotive starter batteries. Examples of places that accept these batteries are:
County or municipal recycling drop-off centers, scrap metal dealers, and retailers who sell
automotive replacement lead acid starter batteries. For more information on recycling this battery,

Before disposing of the battery, protect exposed terminals with heavy-duty tape to prevent shorting
(shorting can result in injury or fire)
Do not expose battery to fire or intense heat as it may explode
