Toenableaspecicmonitoring,thestartandstopconditionscanbe
setfortherecordingindependenceonthecurrentmeasuredvalue.If
astartconditionismet,therecordingstartsintheVEGAinstrument.
Thecurrentrecordingstopsassoonasthestopconditionisreached.
Ifthestartconditionisfullledagain,therecordingdoesnotswitchon
again.
Therecordingcanbestoppedautomaticallyifthememoryinthe
VEGAinstrumentisfull.Selecttheoption"Stop recording when
memory is full".Ifthisoptionisselected,theoldermeasuredvalues
willbeoverwrittenautomatically(ringbuer).
12.3 Start of the recording
Afterhavingadjustedtherecordingmodeandthestart/stopcondi-
tions,thesesettingshavetobetransferredtotheVEGAinstrument
("Device data - Save in device").Activatethetrendrecordingbypush-
ingthebutton"Start recording".Thecurrentutilisationofthememory
andthenumberofrecordedmeasuredvaluesisnowdisplayedunder
"Status".Modicationoftherecordingconditionsisnotpossibledur-
ingarecording.
12.4 Load recording from device
Retrievaloftherecordedmeasuredvaluescanbecarriedoutvia
PACTware/DTM,httpore-mail.TheEthernetaswellastheRS232
interfacecanbeused.
Toloadasavedcurvefromthedevice,selectthepage"Diagnosise
- Device trend"andclickwiththerightmousekeytothediagram.
Selectintheopeningpopupmenutheentry"Load recording from
device".Adialoguewindowopensinwhichthecurveandtherange
canbeselected.Inthelistboxforselectingthecurve,allcurvesare
shownwhicharecurrentlyactivatedinthesignalconditioninginstru-
ment.Under"Range"youseetheavailablerangeontherightwhich
canbelimitedbytheelds"Begin"and"End".Throughthis,thetime
requiredforreadingoutthecurvecanbeconsiderablyreduced.
Furtherinformationontrendrecordingisavailableintheonlinehelpof
thecorrespondingDTM.
Whenrecordingisactivated,twoleswithdierentformatsarecre-
atedforeachcurve.Forcurve1theseare"crv01.gnd"and"crv01.
csv".Additionalcurvescorrespondinglygettheconsecutivenumber,
e.g."crv02.gnd"forcurve2.Fileswiththeending".gnd"areused
forgraphicpresentationofthemeasuredvaluecurves.Ifthevalues
shouldbedisplayedasaspreadsheetorfurtherprocessed(e.g.with
Excel),theleswiththeending".csv"areused.
