What you need to know and where to go for more information
1. HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Inside the Compute Node and storage shelf shipping containers, you will find the following:
• Accessory boxes that contain rail kits, cables, and a bezel (in the compute node
container)
• Envelope containing warranty agreement, environmental compliance statement, and
USB drive
The Veritas Access Appliance Hardware Installation Guide provides information to
install the hardware, connect all cables, turn on each component, and verify operation.

2. APPLIANCE CONFIGURATION
To configure the appliance, you need the following information:
• Default login credentials: [User name = admin] [Password = P@ssw0rd]
• Configuration requirements: Find all of the necessary information to configure the
appliance, including networking requirements, in the Veritas Access Appliance
