- Assembly: The scooter requires minimal assembly, involving fixing the stem tube, installing the handlebar, and tightening screws. It is recommended to install all screws halfway before fully tightening to prevent warping.
- Dashboard Operations: The LED dashboard provides essential information such as current speed, driving mode (ECO, D, S), battery level, and error codes. It features a power switch (long press to power on/off for S1-C, short press to power on and NFC card unlock for S1-C Pro), mode selection (single click to switch), LED lighting (double-click to turn on), Bluetooth connectivity for mobile app integration, NFC (optional function for S1-C Pro models) for unlocking, over-temperature display, and failure alarms. The power display shows battery level, gradually decreasing as power drops.
- Riding Instructions: Users are advised to read the manual thoroughly before first use. It is recommended to wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear. Avoid sharp turns at speed, fast acceleration downhill, and riding in mud, bad weather (rain, snow, high winds, thunderstorms), or poorly lit areas. Do not submerge the scooter base in water. When encountering rough surfaces, bend knees slightly and reduce speed. Prolonged vibrations and hard impacts can be damaging, so stop riding if the journey becomes too rough. Do not ride down steps or off drops.

Do not press the throttle while walking with the scooter, contact obstacles with tires/wheels, carry heavy objects on the handlebar, or ride with only one foot. The scooter is for one rider only; do not carry passengers or children. Do not ride on public roads, motorways, or highways, and avoid violently rotating the handle at high speed. Do not ride in water exceeding 2 cm depth.
Maintenance Features:
Proper care and maintenance are crucial for the scooter's longevity and performance.
- Pre-Ride Checks: Before every use, check all parts, including tires, brakes, lights, controls, handlebar folding mechanism, and handlebar grips, for wear and tear or damage. Replace any faulty or damaged parts immediately with genuine VICI parts.
- Tire Maintenance: Ensure correct tire pressures and add air with a pump when needed. Replace flat or punctured tires before riding. Puncture prevention fluid can be added to tires.
- Cleaning: Clean the scooter with a soft, damp, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use a water hose or spray, and never immerse the scooter in water, as this can short-circuit it and void the warranty. Ensure the charging jack is covered by its rubber cap to prevent electric shock during cleaning. Avoid using alcohol, petrol, kerosene, or other corrosive/flammable solutions.
- Storage: Store the scooter in a clean, cool, and dry area, away from direct sunlight, fire, and heating appliances. The optimum storage temperature for battery health is 15°C - 25°C (59°F - 77°F).
- Charging & Battery Care:
- Fully charge the battery before first use.
- Always turn off the scooter before charging.
- Use only the provided VICI battery charger and the correct plug adaptor (UK and Euro adaptors supplied).
- Charge indoors in a clean, cool, and dry area, between 5°C - 45°C (41°F - 113°F) for general charging, and 20°C - 25°C (68°F - 77°F) for optimum performance.
- Do not leave the scooter unattended while charging.
- Avoid overcharging; the charger light will turn green when charging is complete.
- For regular use, fully charge the scooter to 100% after every ride, ideally 30 minutes to 1 hour after riding.
- For prolonged storage, maintain the battery level at 40-50% and charge it once a month to prevent irreversible damage.
- Avoid running the battery down to 0%; recharge at 10% battery charge.
- Ensure the battery charging jack is always covered by the rubber cap when riding to prevent water, dirt, and debris ingress, which can short-circuit the scooter and void the warranty.
- If the charger jack gets wet, turn off the scooter immediately (if safe) and allow it to dry completely before charging or using.
- If the charging jack contains dirt, clean it carefully with a small, dry plastic brush (at user's own risk).
- The battery warranty is 1 year if correctly used and maintained; incorrect use or poor maintenance will void it. Only use genuine VICI batteries.
- Troubleshooting Charging Issues: If the battery light does not turn on, check the main power supply, ensure all connections are secure, and check for debris in the charging jack.
