Filling/Relling
You have two options for lling your humidier’s
Water Tank: under the faucet at the sink, or
with a pitcher of water at the humidier.
1. Ifllingatthesink,turnthehumidieroff,then
openTanklidtorevealthehandle,removeTank
fromBase,carrytosinkandll.
OR
Ifllingatthehumidier,ensureTankissecurely
seatedonBase.OpenTanklidandllusingawater
pitcher.
NOTE: FillTankwithcoolwater.DO NOTllwith
warmorhotwater.DO NOTADDESSENTIALOILS,
MEDICATIONS,ORINHALANTLIQUIDS,suchas
VicksVapoSteam,totheTank.Doingsocouldcause
damagetothehumidierandvoidthewarranty.
2. ClosetheTanklid.
3. Iflledatthesink,carrythefullTankbackusing
 twohandsandplacebackintheWaterReservoir
 ontheBase.Forproperplacement,lineupthe 
 chimneyandnozzletotheVICKSlogo.
NOTE: WhentakingyourTanktoandfromthesink,carry
theTankusingtwohands.Manufacturer/Distributorwillnot
acceptresponsibilityforpropertydamagecausedbywater
spillage.
Water Quality and Your Humidier
Highmineralcontentinyourwater,alsoknownas
“hardwater,”maycauseawhitemineralresidue
toaccumulateonsurfacesintheroomnearthe
humidier.Thismineralresidueiscommonly
referredtoas“WhiteDust.”Thehigherthemineral
contentorhardnessofyourwater,thegreaterthe
potentialthatyoumayhavewhitedust.“WhiteDust”
isnotaresultofadefectorawinthehumidier.It
isaresultoftheamountofmineralssuspendedin
thewateryouareusing.Ifyouliveinahardwater
area,usedistilledwatertominimizetheproduction
ofwhitedust.
