What to do if my Viconte VC-701 will not turn on?

If your Viconte Convection Oven isn't turning on, first ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into a functioning AC outlet. Also, make sure the lid is completely closed and pushed down properly. This 'PUSH DOWN' motion activates a safety switch, and the oven won't operate if the lid is in the upright position.
