Step :
Press and hold start button
(J).
Step :
Press the motorstop lever (I)
to the handlebar and hold.
The start button can be
released again after moving
the motorstop lever.
Power supply and operating
voltage must correspond
(see identification plate).
The mains supply voltage
must correspond to the
specified rated voltage of the
appliance.
The power supply cord must
be adequately protected by
fuse ( Technical
specifications”).
Only connection cords which
are no lighter than rubber
sheathed cables H07 RN-F
DIN/VDE 0282 and have a
minimum cross section of
3 x 1.5 mm
2
for cable lengths
up to 25 m and 3 x 2.5 mm
2
for cable lengths up to 50 m
must be used.
The connectors of the
connection cord must be made
of rubber or have a rubber
coating and conform to the
DIN/VDE 0620 standard.
09.01 Electrical
connection
During scarifying work, the
strain relief prevents any
unintentional disconnection of
the connection cord and any
resulting damage to the mains
connection on the appliance.
For this reason, the
connection cord must be fed
through the strain relief.
Form a loop in the
connection cord (7) and
guide it through the opening
(8).
Then push the loop over the
hook (9) and pull it tight.

Risk of injury!
Only switch on the motor
when the scarifying unit is
in the transport position.
Never tip the lawn scarifier
to switch on the motor.
WARNING
Release the motorstop lever
(I) to stop the motor. The
motor and the scarifying
blades come to a standstill
following a brief run-down
time.
If the appliance is left
unattended, disconnect the
connection cord.

Always bring the appliance
into the transport position
before switching it off.
