Usage Features:
The device requires careful handling and adherence to safety precautions. The gasoline engine must use a 40:1 gasoline to two-stroke oil mixture. It is crucial to operate the engine at low speed for 3 to 5 minutes after starting and before stopping to prevent damage and injury. High-speed operation without load is prohibited, and the engine should not be stopped suddenly at high speed.
Fueling:
When adding fuel, the engine must be stopped, and all fire sources kept away. Smoking is prohibited near fuel. The fuel tank cap should be opened carefully to release any pressure and avoid spillage. Fueling should only be done in well-ventilated areas. Any spilled fuel on the machine should be wiped immediately, and clothing contaminated with fuel should be changed. Always check for leaks before starting the engine.
Starting the Engine:
- Set the dust gate handle to the lowest position to prevent chemical ejection upon starting.
- Ensure no one is standing in front of the nozzle.
- Press the oil cup until gasoline is visible in it.
- Place the switch in the starting position.
- Set the choke to the full position.
- Pull the starter 2 or 3 times slowly, allowing it to return gradually to avoid damage.
- Close the choke and pull the starter handle until the engine fires.
- Once the engine starts, open the choke fully.
- Allow the engine to run at low speed for 2-3 minutes before beginning spraying or dusting.
Spraying/Dusting Operation:
- Perform operations in cool weather with little wind (early morning or late afternoon) to reduce evaporation and chemical drift, improving effectiveness.
- The operator should move windward.
- If chemicals come into contact with the mouth or eyes, wash immediately with clean water and seek medical attention.
- If the operator experiences headache or dizziness, stop working and consult a doctor.
- Dusting and spraying must be carried out strictly according to chemical manufacturer instructions and agricultural requirements.
- If stopping the engine during dusting, first close the dust gate.
- Do not direct the air blast towards bystanders, as it can propel small objects at high speed.
- Avoid contact with hot muffler or cylinder surfaces.
- After work, wash hands and clean all clothing, as residual pesticides can stain.
Chemical Addition:
- During spraying, the chemical switch must be closed.
- During dusting, the dusting valve throttle and fuel lever should be in the bottom position to prevent chemical discharge.
- Avoid storing powder chemicals in the tank for extended periods, as they can clump.
- Ensure the chemical tank lid is tightly secured during spraying. After adding powder chemicals, clean the screw of the chemical tank mouth and tighten the lid.
Safety Precautions:
- Always read and understand the instruction manual.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing: flanged cap, dirt/fog-proof glasses, gauze mask, long gloves, protective coat against poisons, and labor protection shoes.
- Certain individuals should not operate the machine, including mental patients, intoxicated persons, minors, the elderly, those who are fatigued or unwell, or those unfamiliar with the device.
- Prevent fire hazards: do not light fires or smoke near the machine, never refuel a hot or running engine, and always tighten the fuel tank lid. Move at least 10 feet away from the fuel container before starting.
- The power tool produces toxic exhaust fumes; never operate it in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas.
Maintenance Features:
All maintenance, cleaning, and adjustment tasks must be performed after stopping the machine and outside the danger zone.
Spraying Units:
- After each operation, clean any residual spray mixture or dust from the chemical tank and all other parts with clean water and dry them.
- Clean the dust gate and chemical tank (inside and outside) after dusting.
- Loosen the chemical tank lid when the machine is idle.
- Let the machine run at low speed for 2-3 minutes after cleaning.
Fuel System:
- Regularly clean the fuel system, as water or dirt in the fuel are common causes of engine problems.
- If the machine is not used for more than a week, drain all residual fuel from the tank and carburetor to prevent gumming and clogging.
Air Filter and Spark Plug:
- Clean the air filter daily. Dirt on the sponge reduces engine power.
- Dry the filter before reinstallation.
- Clean any stains or carbon from the spark plug and adjust the spark gap to 0.6-0.7 mm.
- Use the specified spark plug model (4106J); do not use other models.
Long-Term Storage:
- Clean the machine and apply anti-rust oil to metal parts.
- Remove the spark plug, pour 15-20g of 2-stroke engine oil into the cylinder through the spark plug hole, and pull the starter handle 4-5 times to distribute the oil. Pull the handle slowly until the piston reaches the top of its travel, then reinstall the spark plug.
- Remove the chemical tank, clean its dust hole and interior/exterior, then reinstall it with the lid loose.
- Remove and clean spray units, storing them separately.
- Completely drain fuel from the tank and carburetor.
- Cover the machine with a plastic dust cover and store it in a dry, clean place.
