2. Important safety instructions
8. Do not pinch any objects between the door and the appliance.
Ensure that no dirt or food deposits are left on the door seals and
/ or the sealing surface.
9. The appliance, door, seals and accessories should be cleaned
regularly and any food deposits removed. Please note additional
instructions in the chapter 5. Cleaning and Care.
10. Failure to maintain the appliance in a clean condition could lead
to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life
of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
11. The appliance may only be used, if the rotating plate and ring are
placed correctly.
12. Remove the rotating plate and ring from the appliance, before
moving it.
13. This appliance is an ISM appliance (appliances for industrial,
scientific, medical applications) of group 2, class B.
14. Group 2 contains all ISM RF equipment in which radio-frequency
energy in the frequency range 9 kHz to 400 GHz is intentionally
generated and used or only used, in the form of electromagnetic
radiation, inductive and / or capacitive coupling, for the treatment
of material or inspection / analysis purposes.
15. Class B equipment is equipment suitable for the use in domestic
establishments and in establishments directly connected to a low
voltage power supply network which supplies buildings used for
domestic purposes.
2.3 Mains connection
1. Ensure that the mains voltage matches the specification on the
appliance’s rating plate.
2. Make sure that the plug is always accessible and easy to reach.
The plug acts as a separator from the mains. Only the plug can
completely separate the appliance from the mains.

3. Disconnect the plug when the appliance is not in use, during
thunderstorms, in case of malfunctions and prior to each cleaning.
4. Pull the plug itself to disconnect the appliance from mains supply.
Do not pull on the power cord.
5. Avoid damaging the power cord by squashing, bending or contact
with sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces and open
flames.
6. Ensure that the appliance cannot be pulled down by its power cord.
Place the power cord, so nobody can trip over it.
7. In case the appliance malfunctions due to an electrostatic discharge
or electrical spikes, disconnect the appliance from the mains. Wait
one minute and plug the mains plug back into the mains socket.
Turn the appliance back on in order to return to normal operation.
8. In order to avoid hazards, a damaged power cord may only be
replaced by the manufacturer, an appointed workshop or a similarly
qualified person.
2.4 Installation location
1. Place the appliance on a horizontal, dry, clean, sturdy and anti-slip
surface.
2. Only use the appliance in dry indoor rooms, never outdoors.
3. Do not place the appliance in build-in furniture or cupboards. The
appliance may only be used free standing.
4. Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm around the appliance to ensure
sufficient ventilation.
5. Keep the appliance away from heat sources, e.g. heaters, ovens and
other heat generating appliances. Do not place the appliance on
top of hobs (gas-, electronic-, coal hobs etc.). Please pay attention
to paragraph 2.1 General safety instructions.
6. Do not place the appliance in close proximity to other appliances,
which generate strong magnetic fields (e.g. engines, transformers).
