Always disconnect the attachment plug from the electrical outlet before
handling the pump.
The device is not intended to be moved when plugged in or in operation. The
supplied power cord cannot be replaced if damaged.
Do not connect it to voltages other than that shown on the pump.
Do not pump flammable liquids.
The National Electric Code requires that a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
(GFCI) be used in the branch circuit supplying fountain pumps
and other pond equipment.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, only use the device on portable,
self-contained fountains longer than 5 feet in any dimension. Do not use
the device in water above 40°C (104°F).
This pump was carefully inspected and tested to ensure that it operates
safely and sufficiently. Please read and save this manual for future reference.
Failure to follow the instructions and warnings listed in this manual may
result in damage to the pump and/or serious injuries.
INTRODUCTION
This pump has a regular attachment plug. Be sure to connect it to a matching
outlet.
