Safety. Life. It’s unpredictable. And that’s exactly what we had in mind when we designed
the safety features in the Eos. We installed active safety systems that help reduce
the likelihood of a collision in the first place. But for when an event is unavoidable,
we’ve implemented multiple passive safety systems to help protect our most important
assets: you and your passengers. Together, these measures help anticipate life’s
unexpected curves, and help you feel a little safer out there.
For what’s out there.It’s all in here.

PASSIVE ACTIVE
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
(
TPMS
)
. The Eos is sensitive,
especially when it comes to its tires. To help stay efficient and safe,
the Tire Pressure Monitoring System alerts you to a loss of tire
pressure.
Seven stability-enhancing systems. Electronic Stability Control
(
ESC
)
can help the Eos maintain control by applying corrective
forces when you need it most. It’s nice to be in control.
Adaptive airbags. You’re virtually surrounded by safety in the
Eos with four airbags, including a seat-mounted side curtain
airbag that helps protect you and your passengers.**
Safety cage. Beautiful on the outside, tough on the inside.
Underneath the gorgeous exterior of the Eos is a sturdy safety
cage that’s designed to help protect you and your passengers in
the event of a collision or rollover.
Intelligent Crash Response System
(
ICRS
)
. In the event of
a collision that activates the vehicle’s airbags,** the Intelligent
Crash Response System automatically unlocks the doors, turns
off the fuel pump, and turns on the hazard lights.

Now that’s
thinking ahead.
Automatic Rollover Support System. Just when you thought it
couldn’t get safer, we added the Automatic Rollover Support
System that deploys two hidden steel beams from behind the rear
head restraints to help keep you safe in the event of a rollover.
*This is a dramatization and does not depict what will happen in a collision. All bags will not inflate simultaneously in real-world collisions, and if multiple bags do deploy, they will be in various stages of inflating/deflating and will never all be inflated at the same time. **Airbags are supplemental restraints only and will not deploy under all crash circumstances. Always use safety belts and seat children only in
the rear, using restraint systems appropriate for their size and age.
†
The Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS) will only activate in a collision where the airbags deploy or safety belt pretensioners activate. Not all collisions cause airbags to deploy or safety belt pretensioners to activate.
Dramatization.*
