The 2024 Jetta is a vehicle equipped with a range of features designed to enhance driving experience, safety, and comfort. This quick-start guide provides an overview of its key functionalities, including steering wheel controls, climate control, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, driver assistance systems, and electronic parking brake.
The multi-function steering wheel features controls on both the left and right sides. The left side controls are primarily for operating Driver Assistance features and adjusting volume settings for radio, navigation system notifications, and phone calls. Volume can be increased or decreased by pressing the buttons; GLI models with capacitive buttons also allow for finger sliding. The right side controls are used to access functions in the instrument cluster display. These include a Voice Control Button for activating the Voice Recognition System (short press for Volkswagen Voice Control, long press for third-party voice control with a compatible smartphone connected to App-Connect). A VIEW button allows switching between displays, with options varying by equipment. The OK button is used to open menus, select settings, and accept phone calls. Horizontal Menu Buttons navigate through main menus, while Vertical Arrow Buttons navigate within specific menus. Additional Horizontal Arrow Buttons on GLI models with capacitive buttons allow changing radio stations, scrolling through presets, or selecting media tracks.
The vehicle is equipped with USB Type C ports for connecting mobile phones, supporting the latest generation of USB. A compatible cable is required, and a link is provided to find suitable converters.
A Qi-capable mobile phone can be charged wirelessly by placing it securely in the center of the charging surface with the display facing up. The Infotainment system will indicate when charging begins.
