The VOLT! HEATERZ is a range of infrared heaters designed for efficient and safe heating. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and user safety.
Function Description:
The VOLT! HEATERZ are intelligent infrared radiant heaters. They are designed to provide warmth by emitting infrared radiation, which directly heats objects and people in a room rather than just the air. This method of heating is often more efficient and provides a comfortable warmth. The heaters come with a remote control for convenient operation and offer various settings to customize the heating experience, including temperature adjustment, timer functions, and power output selection.

The heaters are designed for fixed installation on a wall or ceiling. For ceiling installation, the distance from the wall to the electrical appliances must be 200 mm. For wall mounting, the height from the ground must be at least 2200 mm, and from the ceiling, there must be 200 mm remaining. The heater should be installed so that its controls cannot be touched by a person using a bath or shower.
Usage Features:
The VOLT! HEATERZ comes with a remote control (requiring one CR2032 button cell) for ease of use. The control panel on the device itself includes an On/Off button, Adjustment button, High/Low switch button, Switch button, Set button, and Display button.
Upon first use, a slight smell and smog may be detected, which is normal as protective oils burn off. The appliance should be allowed to heat up in an open environment until the smell dissipates.
Key operational features include:
- Power On/Off: The appliance is turned on by setting the On/Off switch to "I". A beep sound indicates standby mode, displaying the room temperature and illuminating the WiFi-link indicator. Pressing the On/Off button on the remote or control panel starts the infrared heater, displaying room temperature, and the heating pipe indicator "3" flashes.
- Temperature Setting: Press the "SET" button to enter temperature adjustment mode. Use the "∧" or "V" buttons to increase or decrease the temperature by 1°C, within a range of 5°C to 45°C. The set temperature is activated after 5 seconds, and the display reverts to ambient temperature. The heater automatically maintains the set temperature, with the working light turning on and off. It stops working when the ambient temperature is 3°C above the set temperature and resumes when it falls 1°C below.
- Timer Function: Double-press the "SET" button to set the timer. Use the "∧" or "V" buttons to adjust the time in 1-hour increments, up to 24 hours. The timer activates after 5 seconds, and the display returns to ambient temperature.
- Child Lock: In normal operation, press the "SWITCH" button, then within 5 seconds, press the "O" (On/Off) button. The display will show the child lock icon "[ ]", indicating all functions are locked. To unlock, repeat the sequence.
- Temperature Unit Conversion: In normal operation, press the "SWITCH" button, then within 5 seconds, press the "ıl" (High/Low switch) button and the "V" (down) button to switch to Fahrenheit. The "F" symbol will light up.
- Power Output Selection: Press the "ıl" (High/Low switch) button to choose the output power. The low-grade working indicator "•" lights up for low power, and "••" for high power.
- Display Mode: Press the "DISPLAY" button to show only the low-level working indicator "•" or the high-level working indicator "••". Pressing again turns off the display. In standby mode, pressing "DISPLAY" turns off the display; press again to open.
- Shutdown: After use, press the "O" button on the remote control to put the appliance in standby. Then, set the On/Off switch to "O" and unplug the appliance.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of the VOLT! HEATERZ.
- Cleaning: Ensure the heater is unplugged from the mains before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaning appliances. Clean with a damp (not wet) cloth rinsed in soapy water only. The most common cause of overheating is dust or fluff accumulation; these deposits should be removed regularly by unplugging the heater and vacuum cleaning the air vents and grilles.
- Storage: Always store the heater when not in use and ensure it has cooled down before storing it away.
- Cord and Plug: Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug, or if it has malfunctioned or been dropped/damaged. Return it to a qualified electrical person for examination, adjustment, service, or repair. Avoid twisting, kinking, or wrapping the cord around the heater, as this can damage the insulation.
- Disposal: Electrical appliances should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. Use separate collection facilities. Contact local government for information on collection systems. Hazardous substances can leak into groundwater from landfills, damaging health. Retailers are legally obligated to take back old appliances for free disposal when replacing with new ones.
- Batteries: Batteries contain hazardous materials and must be removed from the appliance before scrapping and disposed of safely.
Safety Precautions:
- Read all instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.
- Use only the voltage specified on the rating plate.
- Do not cover the grilles or block airflow. Keep all objects at least 1 meter from the front, sides, and rear of the appliance.
- Do not place the product close to radiant heat sources or in areas where flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Avoid touching hot surfaces to prevent burns. Switch off and allow to cool before moving.
- Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid into the heater's interior.
- Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not use this product in a window, as rain may cause electric shock.
- The heater is not suitable for use on long pile carpets or flokati rugs.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
- The heater must be installed so that the controls cannot be touched by a person using a bath or shower.
- Consult a qualified electrician or service technician if the power cord is damaged.
- Do not use the heater in an infirm person's living room without supervision.
- Ensure the heater maintains a certain distance from other furniture or appliances to avoid hazards.
- For stationary appliances not fitted with a supply cord and a plug, or with other means for disconnection from the supply mains having a contact separation in all poles that provide full disconnection under overvoltage category III conditions, the instructions state that means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with wiring rules (suitable for 52023).
- Parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
- Children under 8 years of age should be kept away from the device. Children under 18 years of age should only use the device under adult supervision. The device should only be used by persons 18 years of age or older.
