Ifthestandardprocedurecan’tbefollowed
duetoroadconditions,followthealternative
proceduredescribedbelow.
Thiswillallowthevehicletobetowed
withouttheremovalofthedriveshaftfor
whateverdistancethevehicleneedtobe
towed.Thefollowingconditionsmustbe
met.

Donotreplacethetowingstandard
procedure,thisproceduredoesnothave
anyindicator,ifanyofthestepsbelow
arenotfullledatransmissiondamage
mayoccur.
Towinggear3HRwillbeengagedif
followingpointsarefullled:
•Thegearleverortheshiftpadmustbein
neutral
•Engineisnotrunning
•Theremustbeenoughairpressuretothe
gearbox
•Thevehiclemusthaveelectricalpower.
•Theignitionkeymustbein“ON”position.
•Vehiclemustbetowedforward
CAUTION
Reversetowingisnotallowedwhensuch
towingalternativeprocedureapplied.
Reversetowingcandamagethegearbox.
