What to do if only bottom section of Vulcan Fitness oven is heating?
    • W
      William ThorntonAug 11, 2025
If only the bottom section of your Vulcan Fitness oven is heating, measure the voltage between the L2 and L3 terminals of the top 3-heat switch. If you measure 208 volts, measure the voltage between terminals 2 and 3 of the switch when it's set to the HI position. If there's no voltage, replace the switch. If you measure 208 volts, check for open elements or bad connections in leads 17, 18, and 19. If there's no voltage at L2 and L3, check the thermostat and supply voltage as outlined in the 'NO HEAT IN ONE SECTION ONLY' troubleshooting steps.

Why is one section of my Vulcan Fitness oven not heating?
    • M
      Matthew CampbellAug 21, 2025
If only one section of your Vulcan Fitness oven isn't heating, check the voltage on the terminal block of the cool section. If there's no voltage, check for loose or incorrect connections of the interconnecting leads. If you find 208 volts, check the voltage between lead 3 and 6 or A3. If there's still no voltage, check for a bad connection, or a tripped or failed circuit breaker. If you find 208 volts, measure the voltage between 6 and 12 and between A3 and 11. If there's no voltage, check the thermostat. If you find 208 volts, check the voltage between terminals 2 and 1 of the 3-heat switch (set the switch on HI position). If there's no voltage, there may be a problem with the switch. If you find 208 volts, check the elements for either an open circuit or a bad connection.

How to fix no oven lights on Vulcan Fitness V0004 thermionic?
    • L
      Lance ValdezOct 31, 2025
If the oven lights are not working on your Vulcan Fitness oven (excluding pizza oven models), start by replacing both bulbs with new ones and ensuring they are securely tightened in their sockets. If the lights still don't turn on, measure the voltage between leads 4 and 8 going to the switch. If you measure 208 volts, inspect the switch for any issues or poor connections to the switch and lamp sockets. If there's no voltage, check the breakers for problems or bad connections. For 480-volt models, measure voltage between leads 4 and 31. If you get 230 volts, the breaker may be faulty. If there's no voltage, measure between lead 32 and the transformer lead connected to the end terminal of the breaker. If you measure 480 volts, there may be a transformer problem. If there’s still no voltage,...
