What to do if Walthers Toy engine remains silent after power up?

If your Walthers Toy engine remains silent after powering up, there are several things to check: 1. Ensure the engine hasn't been muted using the F8 key. 2. Verify that neither the manual volume (adjusted with a Magnetic Wand) nor the digital volume is turned down completely. 3. If the engine was shut down using the F9 key or the Magnetic Wand in Analog mode, switch to DCC operation and start the engine with the F6 key. Once started, you can return to DC or DCC operation. Alternatively, use the Magnetic Wand in Analog to select and start the engine if shut down. 4. If these steps don't work, try resetting your locomotive to its factory default values.
