Try these steps: * Open the control valve and inspect the piston assembly and seal/stack assembly for foreign material. Remove and clean or replace it. * **Regenerant Piston:** A faulty regenerant piston can cause this issue. Replace the regenerant piston. * **Regenerant Line:** Inspect the regenerant line for any air leaks. * **Drain Line:** Check the drain line for restrictions or debris that could cause excess back pressure. Clean the drain line to correct any restrictions. * **Drain Line Length/Height:** Ensure the drain line isn't too long or too high.
