Failure indicators on your WaterFurnace Heat Pump controls can mean several things: a closed (shorted) freeze protection thermistor (replace it), an open freeze protection thermistor (ensure it's secured in the board connector, replace if needed), water reaching the freeze point setting (verify the freeze protection setting), a closed (shorted) water set point thermistor (replace it), the unit cutting out on high pressure (discharge pressure > 4137 kPa), the unit cutting out on low pressure (suction pressure < 276 kPa), or an open water set point thermistor (ensure it's secured in the connector, replace if needed).
