IC8 Installation
Unpacking Check list:
1 x IC8 Chiller
1 x Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
1 x Pressure Relief Valve (PRV110)
1 x Drain Clamp
2 x Push Fit Union/Tube Connectors
1 x Push Fit ‘T’ Connector
Basic Schematic
Optional Extra:
Undersink Filter Kit – includes tube, faucet, take-off valve & carbon filter.
Faucets are not supplied and can be purchased separately.
Tube is not supplied and can be purchased separately.
If no filter is being fitted a choice of Take Off valves is available.
When installing the IC8/C12E the Push Fit (¼ x ¼) Connectors must
be fitted to the inlet/outlet stainless-steel pipes on top of the chiller.
A Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) must be fitted when installing the
IC8/C12E
Step 1 – Fitting PRV
1 The PRV must be fitted prior to any filter and the
chiller.
2 The PRV should not be connected directly to
chiller. Tube should be used to do so.
3 Connect ¼” tubing (not supplied) between the
PRV and drain clamp.
4 Ensure that when connecting the tube it is done
as per the flow direction of the arrow on the side
of the PRV.
5 Connect ¼” tubing (not supplied) between the PRV and drain clamp.
6 Connect tubing using a Push Fit Union Connector to water chiller inlet.
Refer to schematic for guidance.
A Pressure Relief Valve (PRV110) must also be fitted when
installing the IC8/C12E
