1. General instructions
Warning! The Interface converter from the WAVE
DATA range must be
installed by qualified personnel only. Auxiliary power should only
be supplied after the device has been installed correctly. It is not
permitted to undertake changing the range when in operation,
because parts that are dangerous to touch are unprotected.
National regulations (for example, DIN VDE 0100 in Germany)
must be observed when selecting and installing supply cables.
Protective measures must be taken against electrostatic
discharges (ESD) when mounting and setting WAVE
DATA
devices.
An incorrect connection (mixing up the supply voltage and signal
line) will destroy the product; for this reason, the wiring should
be checked before commissioning.
