6700 and 6800 model configurations
Use the following format code to determine available 6700 and 6800 model
configurations:

Notes:
¹ A monitor with an R (RRa) is always configured with M or H for Pulse Oximetry.
² A monitor with an R (RRa) is never configured with N for Pulse Oximetry.
³ RRa is a licensed feature sold in new configurations or as an upgrade. Upgrades
include new UI (User Interface) and addition of the CM (Continuous Monitoring) profile.

• If options have been added to the device, the actual configuration will not match the
model description.
Position Description
[Model]
Two numbers that indicate the model:
•
67: The 6700 (standard) model. Includes nurse call, Ethernet, and USB connectivity. The
radio is optional.
•
68: The 6800 (wireless) model. Includes all Standard features plus an internal 802.11 a/
b/g radio.
[Oximeter]
One character that indicates the oximeter type:
•
H: Includes Masimo with SpHb.
•
M: Includes Masimo.
•
N: Includes Nellcor.
[Resp]
One character that indicates the respiration type:
•
C: Includes CO2.
•
R: Includes RRa.¹

X: Does not include respiration.
[Temp]
One character that indicates the thermometer type:
•
T: Includes SureTemp Plus.
•
E: Includes a Braun ThermoScan PRO and docking station.
•
X: Does not include a thermometer.
Note
If Braun is ordered as a separate accessory, the model number on the label
does not include an E.
[Printer]
One character that indicates whether a printer is included:
•
P: Includes a printer.
•
X: Does not include a printer.
[PowerCord]
The suffix, characters or numbers that follow the hyphen, indicates the power cord packaged
with the device. Country codes include the following:
