Data management
Specify data management settings
1. Access the Advanced Settings.
a. Touch the Settings tab.
b. Touch the Advanced tab.
c. Enter the Advanced settings code.
d. Touch OK.
The General tab appears on the bottom of the screen and the Regional tab appears
on the top of the screen.
2. Touch the Data Management tab.
3. Specify settings.
Setting Action/Description
Auto save preferences Set the default location for Auto save. Off, Local, USB
mass storage device, Workstation, or Remote file
location.
Data conflict (Memory full) options Set the Memory full options to Delete Oldest test or
Prompt user for test deletion preferences.
PDF name format Select up to four types of identification labels for display
on the PDF : None, Test type, Patient ID, Last
name, Test date, Test ID,or Order ID.
Select a delimiter: -, _, #,%, ^
Remote file location Use the keyboard to add the remote file server address,
user ID, and password.
Touch Test remote folder to test the server
connection.
4. Do one of the following:
• To continue in the Advanced Settings, touch another tab.
• To exit the Advanced Settings and return to the Home tab, touch Exit.
Ownership
Specify ownership settings
1. Access the Advanced Settings.
a. Touch the Settings tab.
b. Touch the Advanced tab.
c. Enter the Advanced settings code.
d. Touch OK.
The General tab appears on the bottom of the screen and the Regional tab appears
on the top of the screen.
2. Touch the Ownership tab.
3. Specify settings.
