System problems:

I/O board harness has a loose
connection or is faulty
Reseat or replace the I/O harness.

The electrocardiograph does not power
up when it is unplugged
The battery power is low Charge the battery.
The battery is disconnected Check the battery connections.
The battery is not charging, is depleted,
or is faulty
Replace the battery.
The battery will not charge or the
battery status displays a disconnected
battery
Faulty battery Replace the battery.
Damaged pins on the battery

Replace the battery case assembly.
Smart bus harness has a loose
connection or is faulty
Reseat or replace the harness.
When connected to AC power and with
the battery installed, the battery status

The electrocardiograph prints fewer
than 10 reports on a full battery charge
The battery is degraded Replace the battery.
While powered-on, the
electrocardiograph does not respond
when you touch the screen
The electrocardiograph cannot perform
an immediate action because the
software is unresponsive.
Reset the electrocardiograph by
pressing and holding the power button
for at least six seconds until the screen
goes blank. Press the power button
again to restart.
