Update the RetinaVue 700 Imager software
Note (USB only) Patient list changes will only be made
to the RetinaVue 700 Imager after the USB cable is
reattached and connected to a computer running
the RetinaVue Network software application.
Note (USB only) DICOM files will be available to
theRetinaVue Network once the RetinaVue 700
Imager is reattached and connected to a computer
running the RetinaVue Network software
application.
Take note of the current software version:
1. From the main Patients screen, touch .
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch About to view the software version.
4. Touch (Back) to return to the Settings screen.
Before you begin, you will need the following :
A computer with an Internet connection.
The RetinaVue 700 Imager connected to a computer with a USB cable.
1. Download the software update from https://www.retinavue.net/
RN_CustomerPortal/ and transfer the software update to a computer.
2. From the main Patients screen, touch
.
3. Touch Settings.
4. Touch Advanced settings.
5. Touch software update.
6. Touch Load firmware.
7. Touch OK at the prompt: "Using a USB cable, plug the device into the
computer to put the new software file on the device."
8. Plug the USB cable into the computer and the RetinaVue 700 Imager .
The screen prompt appears: "Device plugged into the computer.
When finished loading file, unplug the device from the computer."
9. Keep the RetinaVue 700 Imager plugged into the computer and transfer the
software update from the computer to the RetinaVue 700 Imager by copying
or dragging the file from the computer location into the RetinaVue 700 Imager
device drive.
