Setting
the
Contrast
Change
the
contrast
of
the
screen
to
your
preference
as
follows:
Press
the
ALT
key
and
the
MENU
key
together
then
change
the
contrast
with
the
cursor
keys
UP
and
DOWN
Entering
data
In
afield
Printed
below
certain
keys
on
the
keyboard
are
letters.
In
a
data
field
{e.g,
MTA
Ident)
press
the
key
once
to
enter
the
first
character;
twice
to
enter
the
second
character,
and
three
times
to
enter
the
third
character.
The
character
is
displayed
on
the
screen
as
entered.
Press
the
right
cursor
key
to
confirm
the
entry
and
move
to
the
next
character
position.
Use
the
left
and
right
cursor
keys
at
any
time
to
select
a
position
to
change
that
character.
Press
the
ENTER
key
or
the
MENU
key
to
confirm
entry
and
exit
the
field.
When
an
entry
field
requires
a
numerical
input
e.g.
date
of
birth,
the
number
keys
are
automatically
selected.
When
an
entry
field
requires
a
letter
input
e.g.
patient
name,
the
letter
keys
are
automatically
selected.
If
a
numerical
input
is
required
for
example
in
the
patient
name
,
or
conversely
a
fetter
input
required
in
the
date
of
birth,
pressing
the
AL
T
key
before
the
character/number
key
enables
this
,
Therefore
when
entering
data:
ALT
+
key
=
number
input
in
character
field
ALT
+
key
-
character
input
in
number
field
