Sending
Measurements can be sent to the SEM A data management system. To send a measurement
proceed as follows:
• Connect the PC to the RS-232 connector on the right hand side of the unit
• Carry out the measurements) as described previously
• Press the MENU key and select SEND
When the transmission is complete a message is displayed showing that successful
transmission has been completed. If an error message is displayed e.g. 'serial link time-out'
check settings in the PC and on the unit. Check the cable connection. Ensure that the Baud
rate and the parity settings are the same in both the PC and the unit (SETUP menu).
