Bake or Convection Function: ,
Convection baking tends to bake more quickly than standard baking, as there is
movement of the hot air around your foods. This generally means setting a shorter
cook time on “CONVECTION” when baking.
CAUTION: Do not use roasting bags, plastic, or glass containers in the oven as
damage could occur.
1. Position the oven rack in to the bottom rack support guide.
2. Place item to be baked (in proper cooking container) onto the oven rack.
3. Set the temperature control to the desired temperature.
4. Set the function control to “BAKE” or “CONVECTION”. Preheat the oven by
setting the timer control to desired preheat time. (See Step 6 in “Basic Use”
instructions for how to set timer control.) We recommend 4 - 8 minutes.
5. Once preheated, turn the timer control to desired cook time. If baking is complete
before the timer sounds, turn the timer control counter-clockwise to “
” (off).
When the time has elapsed, a bell will sound and the oven will turn off. Use hot
pads or oven mitts to open the door and remove the cooking container.
CAUTION: “
” (stay on) keeps the oven on. Always turn all controls to “ ” (off)
and unplug the oven after use. Use extreme caution when opening the door.
Keep your hands and face away as very hot air or steam may be released when
the door is opened. Never set anything on the glass door, as damage could
occur.
Baking/Roasting Guide
All roasting times are approximate and based on cooking thawed meats. Frozen
meats may take much longer. Use of a meat thermometer is highly recommended.
Cooking results may vary; adjust these times to suit your individual requirements. For
best results, pre-heat the countertop oven for 4 - 8 minutes at the desired cooking
temperature. (See Step 6 in “Basic Use” instructions for how to set timer control.)
