Prior to performing RMM-1400/RMC-700 troubleshooting procedures complete the following steps to
view the Site or Site Network Element (NE) alarm history –
 Navigate to the site in Optima
o Via Search Filter method
 on Optima Event View Left-click on Search Filter bar
 Enter either Site number or name (partial entry will work) in the NE Name box
 Left-click on the Search button
 Results will appear in the NE List box
 Left-click on Site Name or specific Site NE
 Uncheck Most Recent box and check Include Cleared box
o Via Event method
 Right-click on an Event View entry
 Left-click on Open NE Tree to Source NE
 NE Tree will open and source NE will be highlighted
 Left-click on Site name or specific Site NE
 Uncheck Most Recent box, check Include Cleared box
o Review Optima alarm history
o When finished uncheck Cleared box and check Most Recent box
 Navigate to the site in ATC’s Footprints system and review alarm history
 Confirm that there have been no revisions (hardware, systems, or software) to the devices
being monitored at the site
