USE
• Remove all packaging material before using the cooking plates.
• Check the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply
voltage.
• Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even
surface.
• Make sure the switch is in the “MIN” position (“MIN” facing upwards). Plug
in.
• The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the
appliance. To do this, set the switch to the maximum setting and leave
switched on for approximately 4 minutes. Smoke will develop, make sure
that the room is ventilated. Switch off the cooking plate and allow to cool
down completely. The cooking plate is now ready for use.
• Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the
cooking plate. The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as
the cooking plate.
• Select the temperature. The cooking plate has a range of temperatures.
Use the lower heat settings (“MIN” to 4) for simmering and gentle heating
and the high settings 5 to “MAX” for boiling
• Due to the cooking plate’s construction, residual heat will remain after
switching off. This may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
• After use, turn temperature dial to „MIN“ and unplug the appliance from
electrical outlet.
CLEANING
• Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
• Wipe with a moistened cloth.
• Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will
damage the finish.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
