Maintenance / Cleaning
For maintenance and cleaning work is always in advance of the plug to pull. The device should be
cleaned once a year. The UVC lamp should be replaced annually, since the power after a year
amounts to only about 50%.
Please note that the steps may vary slightly depending on the model.
A. Pull out the power plug.
B. Turn off the pump and make sure that it is not accidentally turned-on again.
C. At the end of the power connector port of the UVC device Carefully disconnect the fitting. Re-
move the large screw at the top of the lamp and pull out the device button, you can switch the
lamp.
D. Use to pull a wrench or other tool the gap between the glass and shell apart.
E. Then you can start cleaning.
F. Clean the quartz sleeve from the outside with a damp cloth. Check the casing for damage be-
fore reassembling.
G. Squeeze. The gap between device button and quartz glass The O-ring is the last part, which is
set by the clamp screw to the correct position.
H. We recommend to clean the quartz glass with a damp cloth. For cleaning please use only wa-
ter, no means sharp objects (screwdriver, knife or similar).
I. If you reconnect the hose, make sure that there is in it no water. Please keep the hose with a
dry cloth firmly.
J. If you are running the new tubing, remove the clip, which can protect the clip from breaking. If
the O-ring be broken, it must be replaced.
