Assembly Instructions

Install Rubber Feet

Slide rubber feet onto the inner leg ends, ensuring leg bottoms touch foot bottoms. Repeat for all legs.

Attach Outer Legs to Base Plate

Attach outer legs to the base plate by aligning holes and inserting hinge pins. Secure pins with locks. Repeat for each leg.

System Setup and Placement

Choosing a Location

Select a clear southern sky view, away from obstructions and traffic, preferably on a level surface for easier setup.

Leveling the Tripod

Ensure the base plate is level by adjusting inner legs using silver posts. Avoid using the bottom hole in the outside tube leg.

Securing the Tripod

Use anchor screw and bungee cord on soft ground, or attach an 8 lb weight to the bungee cord on hard surfaces for stability.

Attaching the Satellite Antenna

Align antenna feet with base plate holes, ensuring they are in the inside holes. Rotate antenna to lock, then secure with the provided locking bolt.

Packing Up Procedure

Removing the Satellite System

Unlock and rotate the antenna to remove it. Reinstall the locking bolt into the antenna's base threaded hole.

Disassembling the Tripod

Unclip the bungee cord, unscrew the anchor, and remove hinge pins from the legs to detach them from the base.
