Overview

This document describes the HJ1009 automatic swimming pool floor cleaner, a highly efficient device designed for cleaning swimming pools. It operates autonomously, controlled by a computer program, and is capable of filtering the pool water and removing suspended particles and sediments. The cleaner runs on 24V direct current for safe operation.

Function Description

The HJ1009 cleaner is designed to automatically clean the floor of swimming pools. It uses a computer-controlled program to navigate the pool, filter water, and remove debris. The device features a control panel with buttons and indicator lights for various settings, including pool distance, run time, and movement direction.

Key operational features include:

  • Automatic Cleaning: The cleaner operates automatically once programmed, moving across the pool floor to collect dirt and debris.
  • Nozzle Adjustment: The device allows for adjustment of the nozzle direction to optimize cleaning paths. This can be set for different pool shapes (e.g., square, rectangular, round) and sizes. The nozzle can be set to move at various angles (0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°) to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Pool Distance Settings: Users can select the pool distance (4M, 6M, 8M, 10M) to match the size of their pool, which helps the cleaner determine its operational range.
  • Run Time Settings: The cleaner offers various run time options (1H, 1.5H, 2H, 2.5H) to suit different cleaning needs.
  • Forward/Backward Movement: A dedicated button allows for manual control of the cleaner's forward and backward movement, useful for specific spot cleaning or maneuvering.
  • Automatic Run: Initiates the automatic cleaning program.
  • Stop Button: Halts the cleaner's operation.
  • Pool Width Indicator Light: Provides an indication related to the pool's width.

The cleaner's movement path can be adjusted based on the pool's shape and size. For example, for a square pool, the nozzle can be set to 45° or 75° to ensure efficient coverage. For rectangular pools, a 30° nozzle setting is recommended. The device also supports setting the pool width (e.g., 6m, 8m, 10m) to optimize the cleaning program.

Troubleshooting

The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues:

  • Cable twists or coils up:
    • Possible Reason: Cable not fully released, nozzle in extra angle, obstruction in pool, stuck on main drain outlet of the pool, long time working.
    • Corrective Action: Unplug power line and release cable, adjust water outlet into proper angle, remove obstruction in pool, turn off pool filter system, release manually.
  • Cleaner does not reach all pool area:
    • Possible Reason: Power supply unit improperly positioned, nozzle in improper direction, customized pool shape, pool filter system and pump open, cable not long enough in pool, power cord not connected well.
    • Corrective Action: Place power supply in proper position so that cleaner can reach all area, adjust nozzle into proper direction, adjust the nozzle to lead to bigger moving radius, turn off pool filter system, release cable, plug power cord and cable line.
  • Cleaner does not work:
    • Possible Reason: Damaged during transportation, cleaner does not match local rated voltage.
    • Corrective Action: Contact local vendor.
