The GPS signal of your Wintec GPS may weaken under several conditions. These include: * When the vehicle enters a tunnel. * When GPS satellite coverage gets poor because of high-rise buildings or thick forests. * When the sun shade in the vehicle partially blocks out the GPS signal, affecting good reception. * Unstable atmospheric conditions, where GPS data displayed by the receiver device shows a big difference from your real position. * When navigation software can only decode latitude/longitude from NMEA0183, resulting in no altitude information being available. * When firstly recorded data (position, time and number of satellites acquisitioned) is different from the new area, and it will need longer time for re-positioning.
