SECTION 4 MAINTENANCE
This section lists the maintenance procedures that need to be performed on the LT10 sawmills.
The Short Interval Maintenance Schedule lists procedures that need to be performed every 4, 8
or 25 hours. The Maintenance Log lists procedures that need to be performed every 50, 100, 200,
or 1000 hours. Keep track of machine maintenance by filling in the machine hours and the date you
perform each procedure.
This symbol identifies the interval (hours of operation) which each maintenance procedure should
be performed.
4.1 Wear Life
See Table 4-1. This chart lists estimated life expectancy of common replacement parts if proper
maintenance and operation procedures are followed. Due to the many variables which exist during
sawmill operation, actual part life may vary significantly. This information is provided so that you may
plan ahead in ordering replacement parts.
4.2 Sawdust Removal
Remove the excess sawdust from the blade wheel housing and sawdust chute every blade change.
4.3 Carriage Track & Rollers
See Figure 4-1.
