NOTE: If the blade is too far out, back the blade onto the wheel by turning the cant control coun-
terclockwise. If the blade is too far in, turn the cant control clockwise until the gullet of the blade is
the correct distance from the front edge of the wheel.
8. Adjust the blade tension if necessary to compensate for any changes that may have occured
while adjusting the cant control.
9. Close the blade housing covers.
DANGER! Make sure all guards and covers are in place and secured before
operating the sawmill. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury. Be
sure the blade housing and pulley covers are in place and secure.
IMPORTANT! After aligning the blade on the wheels, always double-check the
blade guide spacing and location. (See SECTION 8
for more information.)
4.7 Starting The Engine
See the appropriate manual supplied with your specific engine/motor configuration for starting
and operating instructions.
DANGER! Make sure all guards and covers are in place and secured before
operating the sawmill. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury. Be
sure the blade housing and pulley covers are in place and secure.
DANGER! Always be sure the blade is disengaged and all persons are out of
the path of the blade before starting the engine or motor. Failure to follow this
will result in serious injury.
WARNING! Always wear eye, ear, respiration, and foot protection when oper-
ating the sawmill. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury.
