See Figure 6-1. Install a blade and apply the appropriate tension (See Section 2.5).
Blade tension is adjusted with the tension handle shown.
1. Raise the middle blade housing cover and make sure all persons are clear of the open
side of the saw head.
2. Turn the key switch to pos. #2.
3. Manually spin idle pulley
4. Remove the key and check the position of the blade on the blade wheels.
Check the vertical alignment of the idle-side blade wheel. The gullet of the blade should
ride the same distance from the front edge of the wheel at the top and bottom of the
wheel. If it does not, loosen and tighten the appropriate adjustment screws on the wheel
shaft.
