5.14 Horizontal Adjustment of Side Supports
Logs and boards are clamped against the side supports when sawing. The side supports
must be square to the bed to ensure square lumber.
1. Swing the side support down.
2. Measure between the face of the support and the main bed tube. Make measurements at
both ends of the side support to make sure that it is parallel to the rail.
See Figure 5-20.
3. Use the two lower bolts to adjust the side support so B=A or +1/32" (0.8 mm).
4. Repeat for remaining side supports.
