3.7 Miscellaneous
1. Apply a thin film of a grade lithium grease to the blade guide arm every fifty hours of
operation to help prevent it from rusting.
2. Grease the clamp mechanism, loading arm, and side supports with a grade lithium
grease every 50 hours of operation.
3. Oil all chains with Dexron III ATF every fifty hours of operation np. WD-40.
CAUTION! Do not use chain lube. It causes sawdust
buildup in chain links.
4. Lubricate the board return pivot every fifty hours of operation with a grade lithium grease.
Apply grease to the grease fitting on the board return pivot tube.
5. Check the mill alignment every setup. See Section 5, Alignment.
6. Make sure all safety warning decals are readable. Remove sawdust and dirt. Replace any
damaged or unreadable decals immediately. Order decals from your Customer Service
Representative.
