3.7 Motor Drive Pulley Alignment
See Figure 3-4. Check that the motor drive pulley is aligned with the blade wheel using a ruler as
shown below.
To align the pulleys, loosen or tighten the bolts in the motor mount plates on both sides of the motor.
Incorrect pulley alignment may result in premature drive belt wear.
3.8 Horizontal Adjustment of Drive-Side Blade Wheel
Check the position of the blade on the drive-side blade wheel. The blade should be positioned on
this wheel as described for the idle blade wheel. If not, adjust the drive wheel horizontally.
See Figure 3-5. Use the adjustment screw shown below to adjust the drive-side blade wheel
horizontally. First, loosen the nut on this screw. If you want to move the blade on the wheel away
from the machine, loosen the screw. To move the blade towards the machine, tighten the screw. Be
