Assemble the connector plates
1. Connect the bed sections using a connecting plate, a clamp, and M10x30mm bolts and hardware
from the Bed Kit bag as shown in Fig. 3-6.
a. Bolt the connector plates in place, tightening the bolts in the rounded holes and loosely
securing the bolts in the slotted holes.
b. Install the bolt and hardware on the clamp until the slack is taken up.
c. Set the clamp in place by inserting the larger notch
 in first and tilting the clamp in then
upward to catch the smaller notch
.
d. Draw the track rails together by tightening the clamp bolts.
e. Ensure that the top of the rail joints are smooth.
f. Tighten the bolts in the slotted holes.
2. Assemble the cross braces, tightening the M10x30mm bolts. See Fig. 3-7.
