5.3 Level a Log
Shim one end of the log (e.g. using an optional leveling wedge X100‐1304_US) until the heart of
the log measures the same distance from the bed rails at each end of the log.
5.4 Lift Operation
1. Install a blade, if needed, and check for correct blade tension.
2. Use the crank handle to raise or lower the sawhead.
