If your Woodstock Sander stalls or seems underpowered, consider the following: * The feed rate may be too aggressive. Try decreasing it. * The machine might be undersized for the task. Clean or replace the sandpaper and reduce the feed rate or sanding depth. * The workpiece material may not be suitable. Only sand wood, and ensure its moisture content is below 20%. * The motor may be wired incorrectly. Correct the motor wiring. * The plug/receptacle could be at fault. Test for good contacts and correct the wiring. * The motor bearings might be faulty. Test, repair, or replace them. * The motor may be overheated. Clean the motor, let it cool down, and reduce the workload. * The motor itself could be faulty. Test, repair, or replace it.
