The Explorer window uses a tree similar to the
Windows Explorer program used to manage files
on the computer. Under each folder are subfolders,
which hold the various data variables.
In this picture the A phase current is found in the
Amps folder in the Gen Overview folder. Notice
that the number of amps is not shown.
Only the variable names can be found in the
Explorer window. In order to see the values
associated with the variable, the variable needs to
be transported to the Inspector screen. The user
determines which values are to be placed on the
inspector screen by clicking on the item in the
Explorer Window and dragging it into the Inspector
window. Variables can be selected individually or a
folder can be selected which will include all of the
items in that folder.
