Additionally the LS-5 can be used as a measurement transformer for displaying and
monitoring values. The decoupling functions (voltage, frequency, change of frequency)
can also be used when a parallel mains setup exists.

General notes
NOTICE!
Dead bus interlocking due to incorrect setup
No other LS-5 or easYgen device is expected on the CAN bus. After power-up the LS-5
can carry out a dead bus closure regardless if other devices are connected to the bus
(arbitration time is ignored).
Nevertheless, dead bus interlocking occurs, if the LS-5 detects another device (with
higher priority) within 40 seconds after power-up on the CAN bus, which wants to carry
out a dead bus closure.
The LS-5 acts as if there is no other LS-5 in the system.
